Tried designing an original costume for a weapon featured in Bloodborne! Did a quick breakdown of the different layers of the costume and a front/back view!
My logic here was that I enjoyed the tattered/furry fabric/pelts featured in some of the other costume designs, like Eileen the Crow, but wanted to expand on it.
The Bloodletter is a unique weapon that the player stabs into their chest to transform into a more powerful version, so I organized the outfit around having a open jacket to the player's chest, to allow the character easy access without destroying their garments.
I added a wide brim felt hat with a feather and a dual layer cape to add to the beastly silhouette, along with omitting the customary facemask that most of the hunter sets feature, because I figured the "bloodthirst" of this weapon would translate to a carelessness of it's user when it comes to the messiness of the combat.
I incorporated an asymmetrical armored gauntlet because I'm a fan of those unusual components in other costumes and felt like this hunter would pick and choose where he has heavier gear and where lighter equipment would suffice.
I hope you enjoy this breakdown, and please if you have any questions, ask in the comments! I'd love to flesh it out more soon!
